You guys must be talking about aftermarket HID (High intensity discharge) kits. Are they locally manufactured in Pakistan or they are imported? The prices mentioned by you guys suggest that they are much cheaper than they are here (Toronto). I was looking at one for my Civic and they cost around $500 a pop...but they were JDM so i guess thats why they were expensive.

I would recommend a cheaper alternative. Instead of spending thousaind on HID kits...just replace your stock bulb with halogen/xenon bulbs that give you the look of HID. They should come at around 1/10th of the price of the HID kits.

I am not against HIDs but just trying to make a point. Also..the kits are expensive to replace and the replacement bulbs will cost you a ton. So if you are on a budget..go for xenon plasma bulbs instead of HID.

I am attaching a pic of my xenon bulbs...they are H4 (standard for CIVICs with CTR lamps).

I totally agree with you haseeb but it's a santro we are talking about here. HID kick *** but you pay the price for it. Any idea how much a good quality halogen plasma bulb would cost in Pakistan?

My other concern was of quality...cars are more prone to wear and tear on karachi roads and unless you get the top quality kits...they dont last very long. The kind of kits that come stock on latest BMWs just rock. I read somewhere the new IS400 by Lexus has the best HIDs in the north american market.
