i have a lot of experience of using and maintaining baleno all types of balenos.its really a marvelous car of suzuki.but little diffferent to maintain from other cars.if u have some problems discuss with me on this forum.B-)

thanks for the reply ... i finally got som time for my car...as u said i thoroughly checked throttle body (rpm was dropping both on petrol and cng) and there a gap in the wall of throttle n butterfly valve. and idle sensor valve was covered in carbon .. i have cleaned sensor valve from electric spray, n the walls of throttle body from kerosine oil (there was rust inside) so that the water can flow smoothly... plz tell me is it necessary to purchase new throttle body or can it be repaired... which option is feasible.... i have read in dis blog that throttle body can be repaired.
RPM drop problem is stll there..

i prefer to change and buy a kabli 1 .repaired kam 2 or 3months chalta hay not so trust worthy

have Suzuki Baleno 2002, Problem on CNG ,drops RPM on low speed, does not take pick up. Mechanic advised to replace Spark plug advancer type STAP 101, according to him this type is not available now and relacement cost is Rs 6500.00.I am not satisfied with his findings.

Can any one advise. I also nedd Owners manual of this car, Can any one guide me.

read my thread i hope u would find lot of stuff related to baleno.dont buy so much expensive plugs.just buy plugs of denso 150 rupees each.tune on cng.change air filter.use half tape or air bush in the air pipe.keep rpm at 1.after all this check weather the car is is running fine on petrol.

yes truely,i hav heared by a workshop in aabpara near urdu university(i went there 4 wheel balancing) about same a mechanic was qouting much hi price than my purchase upon seeing it.He also remarked that price of balenos is on boost.

brother its not normal.always fill the bottle half not full keep some place in the bottle for water movement and steam.secondly how is ur engine means how much percent it is working.if there are bubbles in the radiator then check the headgaskit.use coolent.and make the fan direct gear box per fan ki grip detach ker lain.i hope i will work.

i always keeps lequide in mid of d syns markd on expantion bottle(as its nomenclature defines its purpose).
2ndly engine is in good form almost noiseless now.
3rdly i tried 2 direct d fan unpluging its grip when it got a lil over heat but hav 2 put it
back coz of engine chk lyt n also temp guage in d instrment panel got dead.

Hows ur car in 2nd n 3rd gear at 30~40 speed.mine a little slow.

yaar actually mri car ko overhaul sy pehly koi acceleration ka problem nhn tha...srf oil decrease kerti thi...or clutch pressure plate ka problem tha...han clutch pressure plates change kerwany sy us ki pick bht berh gai hy...i must say about 50% increase...mjy tu bht achi accelration mil rahi hy...ap ki car bhi set ho jae gi...abhi kitny kms hogay han after overhaul....mai ny overhaul k baad long route pr ak 400km k return trip legwaya tha car ko...my mechanic advised me so...according to him long route pr constant speed pr engine ki running ziada achi hoti hy or wo sahi bethta hy...

i hav 2000 km by meter reading.Pick ka as such koi barra masla nae hy,i think as i gonethrough many of posts by baleno owners,its natural tendency 2 get boost in 2nd n 3rd gear at speed of 40 onwards after a pause.
I hav put it on long routes of about 150 twice,180 ,300,450,500kms as yet.

never ever go to wheel and wheels, he is a professional "CHOR" wahan ek white shalwar kamiz mai banda hai jo bill bana raha hota hai he looks like a criminal. aur yeh log cam adjustment waghera jaisi cheezay daal kar bohat ziada bill bana dete hain.mai ek dafa sirf check karnay k liye alignment karwa k in k paas gya and he told me that it will cost around 600 to adjust the "cam".
instead go to the market which is called barkat market and its opposite to the street of wheels and wheels.

bro i think aap ney throttel body sahi tarah clean nahin kerwai.check the valve if it is faulty change it.cleam throttel sensor agar petrol per rpm still ho jaey then throttle body is ok.rpm 1 per rakho.change ur spark plugs kiun k old plugs also make little jerks.

throttle body leak???i mean come on yaar can't u see the material of construction of throttle body???it can only be leak if some one hit it with hammer and chisel...OR
they mean that the butterfly valve of throttle body is leaking air on ideal position..that is not a big issue, u have to replace the butterfly valve of TB...it will cost you about 1200 Rs.

My 2005 JXR had rpm drop once in a while, which can be taken care by keeping rpm above 1000. My trouble started yesterday, when suddenly 'Check Engine ' light came on ( while parked and waiting ) but engine and AC running fine . I switched off the car and started again, but same. As i drove away 'Check Engine' light went normal, BUT CNG switch also became dark with no CNG/petrol indication. went to a CNG mechanic, who found out that connector at the back of CNG Switch has started heating/burning up. The switch itself is saved. They do'nt have the 8 Pin connector to replace.

Urgent advice as to what went wrong and from where to get this connector in Islamabad??

Dear Baleno Master, Thanks for guidence, I will follow them. Mechanic advised to replace Adsvancer for RS 6500.00
I also contacted to LandiRenzo Pakistan, Some very good literature is available on their website both in Urdu & English,If some one needed i can send soft copy. Their Technical Manager Mr. Murtaza directly contacted me on Phone and guided very well.
Landirenzo Pakistan webside and thier support really impressive.
I also like to say thanks to SKILL who identified Advancer STAP 101in lahore but I am in Karachi

dear bro some day before my car was missing n the prob was in sensor which mechanic remove after placing jack on right front side n after cleaning place it back then car was normal but

now it started missing again so i want to ask that if again there is prob in sensor then i wanna exchange it with new one how much it cost to me?????

n any good brand that u recomend me

need some guidance abt some problems in my baleno 2004 JXR...

1. Blue smoke from tail pipe and black deposits inside tail pipe
2. pick of the car is not gud at 2nd and 3rd gear below 2000 RPM
3. CD player stops working whenever there is a jump or beat is high
4. some oil is seen at the base of engine

some expert advice...?????

I have a baleno 99 and I am facing following problems both on CNG and Petrol:

1) check engine light appears
2) rpm unstable (some times increases)
3) pick is not fine on CNG
4) setting of CNG get disturbs very often.
5) car switches off automatically
6) milage sometimes fine and sometimes poor

Following recommendations of different mechanics:
1) Suzuki workshop checked and said that problem in Advancer.
2) Original installed of CNG kit disconnected advancer from "Check Engine". But issue still persists and shows no issue with Advancer.
3) One mechanic performed tappet adjustment but issue remainded there.
4) Then he suggested to install "electronic power T" and "Ventury". but I told him that with same condtions performance was fine previously then he said to get check its throttle body.


Please suggest as am confused with different opinions of Mechanics.
