    Default Removing CNG Cylinder/Kit

    Hi everyone
I have a CNG Cultus and I was thinking about removing the cng setup because I mainly run the car on petrol and don't want the additional weight of the cng setup(at least for sometime)
My question is that whether I should have the cylinder removed or the whole kit including cylinder?
Personally I am in favor of removing the cylinder only because my only purpose is to make the car lighter and faster. I think that the kit(excluding cylinder) does not has that much weight and should not be removed because later on it would be easier and cheaper to get the cylinder re-installed rather than getting the whole kit re-installed

What do you guys think I should do?

Secondly how shoould I store the cylinder(after it has been removed)?
    Any special precautions ?
and above all is it safe to run a car with a cng kit but no cylinder?

Wow, first time i see some one's removing CNG kit..rock on dude..lol..any ways, you should remove the cylinder, the air intake blockage, and get it tuned for optimal petrol settings. car should be back in tip top shape. i guess keep the cylinder in ur garage or something

    akoo tum khush ho jao....lolz

    @aerodyn
no precautions for storage, just kepp it in a dry place and put on a plastic sheet for peace of mind...
when a car is converted to cng its timing is advanced and when you run it on petrol the engine knocks. so retard the timing with the help of a timing gun and also increase the gaps of the plugs according to petrol..
the intake is partially blocked when a car is converted to cng , remove that blockage...
    thats al...
its all about power to weight ratio...

well got the cylinder removed today
    its weight was around 50kg
the problem is that I am not feeling any improvement in acceleration
I got the car tuned on petrol settings yesterday!!!

I used to have a petrol cultus before and that cars pick was MUCH better than this cars pick even tho weight etc is same
And before removing this cylinder I hd hardly used this car on cng(say first 2000km on cng....then on petrol only till 6000km...now)
why the pick isnt improving then?
