    Question ALTO Gear Shift becoming Hard!

    Dear All;

    From last few weeks, I'm feeling that my ALTO VXR (2006,38K) gear shift going to be hard. More force is needed to shift gear than before. Many time reverse gear produce sound while shifting.

    Can some body help me what would be the problem in gear box or other way? Do I need to flush gear oil some OR thing else need to be done?

    Regards;

    well check the rod of reverse shift if its bent straighten it up will solve this problem
    else it can be simple like adjusting the clutch as the milage u say it can be true for an 06 but it could be a clean 06

    for the millage no need to change it as it needs to be changed at 80K
    it could be un adjusted clutch only

    I do remembered that some time ago, I loosened the clutch nut (with clutch wire) some turns under engine body because of little late clutch engagement feeling. At that time, I did not feel notable hardness.
    Now as the case is not same, so I'll visit for clutch adjustment

    Only mileage determined gear oil change interval? Like mine have 6 year old but with 38K!
