    Post kabuli 660cc engine head on cuore 850 block

    My friend has bought a cuore 2004 with 126K on odo. it goes to speed of 100 on petrol and 80 on CNG. our mechanic told us that its head is swapped with kabuli 660cc cuore, engine is in overall good condition but it will not get high speed. its tyres are 165/70 R12. i want to ask experts that is the mechanic right? Is there anything we can do to make it reach 120, a reasonable highway speed. also what is the cost of genuine or kabuli 850cc head of cuore?

    if head is swapped with kabuli 660 i think it should even run better like b16 head on B20 honda block makes it a killer
    and how many valves it has 12 or 6 valve head ?
    if its 12 then it should run smoothly and faster then normal head
    i think he might be saying the other way around like assembly is 660cc

    its block is original (we checked engine serial) and head is kabuli 6 valve. car's mileage is great 20km/ltr & 25km/kg on highways.

    your answer is comforting. also after purchase we got shell CNG 20W in it. maybe speed limitation is because of engine age, thicker oil and bigger tyres.

    it might be a tuneup issue and 165 tires i had on mehran and i did ran it up to when meter was showing 130kph
    and oil was 20w 50 askri speacial
    show it to another mechinics

    Get your tappets adjusted... it'll go upto 140.
    20km/litre is excellent.

    if your mehran went upto 130 then 100 is normal for an ordinary car . maybe guys claiming full meter on mehran and cuore had new cars.

    i've never gone above 150 in my cuore ... its more stable around 140 ... my engine is 12 years old now and still going strong.

    i did 145 and the car was soo damn grippy never felt like it is loosing road and engine was going smooth

    About the head issue i,m not a expert but tuka lagau to i think 660cc head is efi and its ecu is tuned for 660cc engine while he running 850cc engine (Its just a thought) that y ecu is giving less petrol so giving better mileage and less power

    For sure yar ... Cuore Rocks... lots and lots of grip ... sharp turns at 80-100 is like a piece of cake. stability is surely great.

    it is running on carburetor but as 660cc head's combustion chamber and valves are small I think result is better mileage and less power.

    ^ Yup sure with a small spec head one sure can,t get better power than a proper 850cc head
    I think he should live with it as it is giving it superb mileage

    I found the suspension of cuore a lil bit hard and after gaining some knowledge about suspension i found that hard suspension gives a car better handling with lots of grip that,s y cuore behave so well around corners...

    yup and when a car leans on two wheels the whole weight is beared by only two tyres so it cause the car to loose grip and also make it shaky and sure santro will b a gud car around corners too as it is HYUNDAI
