    Default Engine swap in Toyota Crown From 2JZ-GE to 1G-FE

    Asslam O Alikum!
    today we started the engine swap previously it was fitted with 2JZ-GE but it was not good in fuel economy but the acceleration and performance was too much. so putting the acceleration and power at a side we decided to put some economy motor in the vehicle. so decided to swap it with the Toyota 1G-FE with ECT transmission. which was donated from the GX100 Toyota Mark 2 2001 model vehicle. folowing are some picture's of the swap. and will update later.

    You do realize that 99% of the work in done this way in Pakistan?

    yes a proper siezure here.

    I know this is 90% of the works standard in Pakistan but the 10% do actually make an effort to make a clean environment. It can range from a simple water down of the surrounding to even an old battered out van to doing it inside the shop with a roof and a sort of tarp as door.

    yes it is body swaped crown it's body was swapped back in 2001 and I love to use it in diesel 2L-TE but later it was swapped with the 2JZ-GE from the original Crown's half cut. but those day's were to great petrol was 60rs/L.

    it is still in progress yesterday we put the engine in the bay but cannot take picture's of that process.

    no problem the 2JZ was sucking the pocket clean. as we installed the CNG hybrid in it well but still the cost was high 9rs/km want to reduce that cost.

    the oldie version's were not so economical but the 1995 onward's are too much economical and with the slight better torque at low end also. and all depend's on how you hook up the wiring if you do it according to diagram and each and every thing and diagnosed properly you are good to go. if not you cannt even get performance from this engine and economy is too far .

    @xulfiq bhai jan I had choosed it from the 2001 Mark 2 grande half cut because the ecu used in it uses the most agrresive ignition and fuling table's to improve low end torque and had replaced the same one in many crown and the result's are owsum. as the wiring segment is alway's done by me. pin to pin original and this version of the 1g-fe ecu also support's the DLC3 connector so also hooking it up for proper live feedback's will update you with that and take suggestion's from you about the situation. one thing more bhai g The CNG HYBRID SYSTEM is alos installed in it so by DLC 3 will be able to get the live snapshot's for your inspection.
