Also I forgot to mention the intake manifold, it also has an inlet and exit points of coolant. Mine was in such bad shape that it was choked with rust and the inlet and outlet metal nipples on which hoses were fastened were almost finished with rust so the radiator wala had to fix it by cutting and forcing new pipes into it.
Long story short, dismantle the entire cooling system and check peace by peace any put back and replace all rusted parts. Until you fix the cooling system, gasket will keep getting burned.
And most importantly don't be fooled by the temperature gauge, the sensor will be covered in gunk and will never go past 70% mark even when the engine will be fuming with oil vapors and no water in the radiator.. Once again... saying with experience...
