While looking at the Geely Pakistan website www.geely.com.pk which is back online, shows the range of 4 vehicles.. CK, MK, FC & Panda.. while there are threads related to CK & MK (also called as Geely KingKong :P) at Pakwheels & i dont like the Geely FC at all since its a pathetic Premio wanabe, the Panda can be something for our market.. Price starts from 4000$ only which is an extremely low price tag but i wonder how the dollar rate will affect its price tag here.. Though i don't envy the design which is said to be inspired from a Giant Panda, the name says that too. But the features and price makes it too catchy.. its equipped with 1.0L CVVT developed in China, 1.3L & an Electric version is also available, i believe only the 1.0 one will be coming here, if its really gonna come. It rivals Chery QQ in its home town in China and if the price is set well, then despite its weird looks it might attract buyers because of the package. The Geely delaership this time should market & advertise their products in a batter way in order to sell them in a handsome number. hope that we see a healthy competition in our market.. Have a look at the panda!
the inspiration...

i am in favor of chinese cars but what i really want to see in future is reverse engineerin of cars like bmw in pakistan as welland to all even if you think they are copiers and cheap. you are right. but what cost we have to pay for mehran and alto i would prefer chinese over them anytimepeace
it may look like an Aygo inspiration (from back) but it isnt a true copy.. some more images below:
