It certainly looks promising. However, about the subject line, killing the German competition is a bit far fetched. It would be a surprise if AR Giulia can beat German rivals in performance, and even if it does look better on paper than current gen German rivals, the later can always improve. Just like British media Hypes Jaguar XE as much better on paper than the current generation 3 series, discounting the fact that current 3 series is years old and due a mid life upgrade for the 2016 model. They also forget the price factor, where BMW beats Jaguar.
BMW recently introduced the new 7 series on a CFRP platform and its not crazy to think M3 may shed a lot of weight in the 2016 model which would make it even better. Audi on the other hand is overdue on a completely new generation of S4 and its hard to imagine they'd field an inferior car than AR. Also, to my limited knowledge, AR's are not known to price their cars cheaper than rivals in the respective segment and price does effect some of the sales.
