Default A Car theft and Recovery - Corolla GLI 2012

    Salams!

A friend of mine hooked me up from the street few days back and wanted me to go along with him to his place, even if just for 10 minutes. Since I was busy at that moment, I had to ask him about the urgency for this, but he simply told me plz come along, I know even you have had a car stolen, so this would probably help you a bit for your next car?!!! Course I followed, Lolz!

A few minutes later when we reached his venue, it appeared that he actually wanted me to check out how a bunch of suckers had tried to take away his brand new, still unregistered, only 6 hours old Corolla GLI from his porch area!

I went inside and took these snaps, thinking that they may prove helpful to those of you who feel their cars are safe inside a covered porch!

Plz check out, the incident happened here in Wah, just 6 hours after he had brought his car home from the showroom. Means, he parked the car at 9.pm, and got the guests in by 3.am in the morning! What an intelligence!!

Main Gate ( 5.5 feet tall):

Main Gate lock ( new lock rings welded):

And broke: ( They didn't break the lock, just the rings it was locked into!

And next step, the Porch gate, fully covered:

    Point of lock, from outside:

A Car theft and Recovery - Corolla GLI 2012 -391742

    And broke again:

A Car theft and Recovery - Corolla GLI 2012 -391747

    The Jackpot:

A Car theft and Recovery - Corolla GLI 2012 -391749

    Steering console, opened up:

    Steering lock, Key assembly:

The suckers managed breaking their way in and out of the house unnoticed. They pushed the car out of the gate and tried hot-wiring it in the street some 80 feet away from the house.

This is when the "man of the match", and elderly bazurk, had woken up for his morning prayer and from a window on the 2.nd floor of the house had caught sight of some people pushing away with the silver babe! He alerted his nephews on the ground floor, who -after a couple of minutes deliberation - went out to the street and found 5 cockroaches fiddling around with the car, bonnet open. They fleed and left the car behind.

Call from tracker company was received, but only after the owners already were standing in the street. Btw, the tracking company had "observed" the car to be some 30 kms off spot! Lolz!

The worst thing about this whole incident is that the thieves arrived to the house with a new Corolla parked, only 6 hours after it reached home from the showroom!!!!

I have said it before, I wanna say it again, Corolla owners are up against a very vicious, well-connected network of car theft mafia, which is informed about the exit of vehicles right from the moment the new cars leave from the showrooms, probably with some "Indus Connection" involved.

You just can't guard your Corolla enough. Better stay away from it! (I am fighting against the virus, still)!

It requires this kind of security, 2-4-7:

A Car theft and Recovery - Corolla GLI 2012 -391762

scary !! corolla no doubt is the most stolen vehicle across pakistan but I think Hondas are not quite as safe as we might think-- they are also prone to thefts and snatching. Yesterday afternoon, in F Block Johar Town, a 2011 H/City was snatched at gunpoint and they took the owner with them to Sheikhupura to make sure tracker was not activated.

I hope that ur friend must have recovered from shock. Keeping in view facts that attempt to steal the car was made only within 6 hours and that is too from secure premises , Iam pretty much confident that some close person must have involved in this attempt. That may be some servant, distant relative, friend etc.

i personally think that the tracking companies are part of this trade.... there is no *****ing chance that one can open the bonnet without the authorization of the Tracker, in case of a theft attempt.... cos it jams up the bonnet lock and bonnet opener is then nothing but a sh*t hole... 3 out of my 4 cars don't have trackers and they still are untouched... Allhamdulilah... one one has the tracker and 3 attempts have been made so far....
2 civics of my friends got stolen and guess what both had trakers... both were gone within 5 min and both are still missing... so FU*K Tracker

whats the use of a car because of which u cant sleep with ease?
go to a function or outings with ease?

in my eyes value of corolla is 0 . the "tension" of it getting stolen is not worth it
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.
