Yes - this data is standardised all around the world. By this data one can see that such battery is good for one's car.
e.g. that battery says 400CCA, good for small to medium petrol engines in mild to warm weather, and the alternator will be suited to it. If I use the same in my diesel Benz it would die in two revolutions, my car requires 1000CA to turn the engine quick enough that it fires and requires a european shape sunken terminal battery.
Now if I did not have such data, how would I choose the battery I need.
The battery installed by MB is made by Bosch and is 120Ah (20hr), 900CCA and 150 min RC. If I want a similar battery how would the Pakistan manufactures match it? Wild a$$ guess? voodoo? jadoo dhuaan baba?
