Well this pic begged for some more investigation into the rear wheel travel question. While I was quite happy with the response of newly added Bilstein 5150s at the rear, I was aware that they might be an inch or so short and restrict downtravel. Though its difficult to tell from just the pic, but one would think that downtravel seems either severely limited, even though itspossible that rear tire is headed up than down... (Nice Pic BTW by Khalid Shoaib Jr.)
So yesterday, jacked up things again and took some measuring tape readings... The shorter silver 5150 does seem to restrict travel but only the last 0.25 inch or so. Overall there should be a good 9 inches in there theoretically though practically its possible that the rebound on the double bilsteins makes the suspension lazy and slow on the droop...(Pics below at full droop, car jacked up at frame)
Nevertheless, gotta thank Saidhi Bhai for the providing the 5150s and if I ever had any doubts on the viability of investing in better valves, they have been effectively eliminated out here, very improved behaviour with the double bilsteins! (pics at current ride height)
