We've started work on the rear of the cabin, and as pictures show, it's coming along quite nicely. I've tasked Jamil Ustaad to make a custom back-glass for the cabin, which will be as high as the rounded side glasses (the stock glass is much narrower). This will make the appearance nice and "airy" from inside.
Secondly, I've reversed an earlier decision to install a Series 70 / RKR / Prado dashboard and steering wheel in the Phantom. Instead, we're going to stick to the stock dashboard...but with beautiful, brand-new, customised switches and gauges...since nothing else will really give it the true "FJ flavour". The stock steering wheel too (albeit beefed up, so as to offer a good "handful").
Another reversal, is the sideboards of the doors. I was planning on a swap with some fancy power windows / central locking stuff. No. Not any longer. Stock doors, albeit beautifully upholstered ones. Anyone who sits inside this beast, will have to manually roll down the windows!
Air conditioning and heating, WILL be catered for, though.
