Another gentleman who I got in touch with was Talat Bhai; our shocks specialist from Karachi.
We've decided to stick to "simple" shocks for the Phantom, rather than the highly complicated (and expensive!) Rancho 9000s.
For the front, then, we're planning on using Monroe Magnum shocks...which are perfectly suited to the ride height, and extension requirements (17 inches compressed, 28 inches extended) of the Phantom. Talat Bhai tells me they're "nice and thick and sturdy", look absolutely amazing, and perform superbly.
We shall use Rancho 5000s for the rear (17 inches compressed, 26 inches extended).
The front steering stabilizer will consist of Ranchos.
In view of Talat Bhai's superb amount of knowledge, skill and experience with these matters, I'm certain that this setup will be absolutely delicious! Thank you, Talat Bhai!
