this Sunday i noticed that my pajero's throatal is not pressing properly .. it feels like stuck and after pressing hard it goes to above 2k rpm. once i pressed hard and the butterfly had jammed on full rmp ie 5k rpm then put the pajero from D to N and switch the car off and open the hood and pressed hard the butterfly by hand to release it . thanks god it came to place .. that was a horrible experience. guess if you are riding a 2.8 TDI and it stuck on full throatal accidentally while the car is in move. in consciences one can't press it to floor because it never ask for it even for the highest speeds requirement.
now i am suffering with irregular accelerator pressing .. like i have to press a little hard to move it above 2k rmp .. i guess it's Zung in the throatal cable because i had sprayed the WD40 butterfly like thing connected to fuel pump with the accelerator wire. what should i do as DIY or i need to see the machinic or i replace the cable ..
suggestion will be highly appreciated from gurrus of pajero .
