Yes they have but it’s not a proper full version camera

I mean it did not record the activity to be seen if you claim, it just record the speed and in the same time they give you the signal to stop and if you did not stop and after words ask them for recording they don’t have the good quality recording to show you.

Personal experience

They are just doing this practice to discourage the guys who start doing over speeding in the night.

I can only tell you this for Super Highway and National highway from Karachi to Sukkur.

No, they do not have the system. If you travel on the route at nights, you will see inter city buses FLYING on the road

I don't know if it's much help but I got pulled over for over-speeding in January 2008 on my way back from Islambad. They've had these things for over a year. The damn thing blinded me... The flash was too bright! Anyway, I pulled over and the officer came over and said to me, 'Mubarik ho sir! Aap ka sab se pehla chalaan hai humaray new camera perr!" At the time I felt like slapping him accross his face but he was just doing his duty. I think I still have the toll recipet laying around... I'll try to check for the exact date.

Yes they do have. I am a very frequent traveller on Lhr-Isb Motorway. There ws no night vision camera till the end of April except in the salt ranges. Many people were being trapped there at 80 and it ws quite easy to stop the people there in very low speed limit area. Rest of the journey i used to do at 150+ at night. On 7th of May while i was going to LHR at almost 160, same flash appeared and immediately after that a MP team was stopping me. It was just after Chakri. in rest of my peacefull journey i found similar arrangements at 4-5 places. So now BE CAREFUL.
