Can anyone quide me that which one is better. I want to purchase one of them but confused. and what about Cherry QQ is it good car? Anyone have?

If u want resale and easy availablity of part go for Alto other wise joy is kool n has efi engine as well

If you want to keep the car with you for a long time (a couple of years) go for Joy, it's comfortable and true value for money. It has a lot of features that Alto doesn't have. Alto is Suzuki brand so will sell easy, a little cheaper to maintain (only a little). QQ is no longer available as Cherry have closed their operations in Pakistan.

Joy has bad road clearance go for Alto dont buy new one it is better to buy old one in gud condition like 2007 or 2008

That depends on you,if u want re sale service back up go for alto but if u want more better interior and luxury then joy has definitely more than alto,do nt go QQ coz of cherry parts are too expensive

Overal how Alto works? Is it smooth or it is like Mehran? Is there really huge difference in riding and engine of both? As I already have mehran but get sick of it as its AC not working its engine becomes very warm in summer also in winter its difficult to start it on CNG.

Kindly tell me Alto works good after some time or not? what about its interror quality is it ok or bad? what about the AC system and its start up in winter morning?

Joy is the better car my friend, but don't really know how good or bad for that matter their aftersales service is my friend

Road clearance means the distance of the cars floor from the road. Higher clearance means the floor won't touch the bumps and breakers on the road every now and then (since roads in our country are not very smooth).

Alto is much better than Mehran and ten times more comfortable and more powerful. Mehran is not built for AC though tend ppl tend to use it anyhow. Joy is around Rs. 150k costlier than Alto, so make your decision very carefully. You can use the car comparison function of the site (http://www.pakwheels.com/NewArrivals/comparecars.asp) to see the difference in detail. Alto parts are available at every auto spare parts store, while Joy spare parts will be available from a somewhat bigger store, something that you might need to consider if you travel outside the city frequently.

joy is much more comfortable but suzuki is suzuki!
u own a mehran u know how easily parts are available and are cheap and alto parts are a bit more expencive than mehran but not that much expencive and no matter what happens in pakistan suzuki will not close its saless in pakistan !
its not the same story with joy!
and suzuki is easier to sell than any car in pakistan
bee wise miss ! see tha market facts and mechnics here don't understand about efi engines very well!
and if ur familar with engien parts like air filter oil filters of merhran same parts go into alto engine and alto is not problamatic like mehran its very good on long rouites!

Well, looks like most of the people are concerned about cost of parts, but do you really need parts on daily basis? Routine maintenance is Oil/Filter change and you can use those available in open market.


Brother, go for something that is comfortable and pleasure to ride. I've owned an Alto (2003 model) and now own Chevrolet Exclusive model that I purchased in 2005. I know the difference. I have driven it frequently on inter-city highway and believe me it's a "joy" to ride. Superb syspension, road grip, roomy interior and a very efficient Air Conditioner. No issues and only parts changed so far are the belts and spark plugs apart from routine oil/filter change (the ODO is now around 35000 Km).


My brother owns 2008 Alto and it's just pathetic. It's simply a rip off! Something wrong with some part pretty frequently!


PS: Don't go for new Chevrolet Spark, it's expensive and has the same 800cc engine as in Chevrolet Exclusive.

Joy does not have both CNG and Fuel tank option? as I were seeing its specification and then I noticed it? On is standard and one is with CNG? which one you have? which one is better? But both should be in a car...what do u think?also can u tell me what is power steering and anti-lock braking system?

power steering means that the turning of wheels is assisted by a hydraulic system which produces extra force to turn the wheels easily.
but in small cars like alto or joy you dont need that alot, it is a usefull feature for bigger and heavier cars.
anti lock brake system will never let your tires get locked if you press the brake pedal too hard. its usefull when driving in rain, as it does not let the car slide or slip when you brake too hard

go for Alto Vxr factory fitted CNG
easy availability of parts
easy to mantain
Very powerful and strong ride not like dat mehran wagaira
i have heard the new model is lighter than da previous model specially da built quality
go for a 2nd hand 2007 or 2008 in gud condition

Besides
if u dnt wanna buy da local car then go for da vitz in imported cars
simply outclass in small cars
