Default should I buy lancer r civic based on these points?

Hello,

I had decided to buy a Civic earlier but now i am changing my mind to go for a Lancer 05, 06 model or a gli 05, 06...what u guys suggest based on the following points....

1). I have to go to villages where roads are not good, and my driving style is also rough...i.e mostly i dont slow down for brakers....that means reliablility and maintenance of the car should be easy....

2). my usage is more...so have to use cng.......car should be economical....but as i am upgrading from mehran so i think at least it should be 1300 cc.......(i am little worried about vti for its consumption)....

3). want comfort also...

4). usually drive fast...so i think i need a car with ABS....and better road grip....

5). should be comfortable...

6). have to keep the car for 3,4 years...so resale is not major concern....

mostly i am in favour of lancer, as it will be good in price and cng consumption also......my budget is around 10 lak.

thanks

I understand that corolla is best choice for me and I am almost ready to buy it.... but the only thing I am worried about is the braking.....as i said before that I usually drive fast and the lack of abs and road grip discourages me from buying rolla...although i havent driven a rolla before so dont know if it has really worst braking or not.....

and one more thing my drive also include city and motorway, so its not that I only need a car for village travel.....

please guys needs suggestions quickly as i really need to buy car soon....

brother CIVIC has softer suspention but it does not means that if ur car's tyre went off road its suspention parts will be
scattered through out the village feild , actually its not the difference of double between the suspention life of civic and rolla ,
i have CIVIC, i drove it on pakistan tour
(karachi to showgran , NARAN, ) two times , and did alot of offroading of on it but its suspention is still fit.
here is the link of my tour to showgran, NARAN 09

I have a mitsubishi lancer 05 1.6 GLX GV Auto-CVT. It has given me no trouble for as long as i've had it. Since you have to go to villages, mitsubishi offers high ground suspension tuning at their service centres. Then your car will not bottom out on bumpy roads. As far as cng consumption is concerned, my 1.6 does about 110 km and you'll be opting for 1.3 so it'll have a much better mileage. If you want comfort then that's the best car you can get. Civic is locally assembled and there is not too much of a suitable quality control and there are some little faults in it like power windows getting jammed, etc. I owned a corolla indus 1.6 Gli Auto Special Edition (japan assembled) before that and it too like any other corolla had an issue with brakes. It's not that the brakes are faulty but they are not as powerful as honda's and mitsubishi's. Lancer comes with ABS and EBD. Also the star attraction of lancer is its superb AC. I've never seen experienced an AC as cool and effective as lancer's and since 1.3 and 1.6 have the same AC, you won't be at a disadvantage either. Once you drive lancer you'll forget all other cars. Maintainence costs are also low but be sure to check your oils. If you keep your car in good condition you can get a resale value better than your expectations as good condition cars are scarce here. So don't worry about resale. You'll get a good price when you go to the market. I've told you all there is about lancer now it's your decision about which car to buy. If you still have any queries then do reply here.
