ok long story made short
once upon a time i was a very proud owner of cf3 (2005) . i brought it for 12 lakhs it was a very good car and i was very proud to own it...... but as time passed, at first my tranny started to slip... when i used to kick down ,somtimes it used to just rev without any acc.... then on further investigating , i got to know my tranny was screwed.. (i forgot the site name, there were just about 90% ppl with tranny problems) i had two options1) rebuilt the tranny ( cost 60,000) 2) import it from dubai ( cost 1 lakh) so i went foe the cheapest solution. even after the built , the gear was not like b4... after tht my rear and front lights started getting old and the bumpers were all broken because the car is pretty low. so i decided to get new stuffs. just the front bumper and rear cost was (60,000 i think). then i went to shairsha , there was no parts for this car because cf3 comes in many shapes.. (jdm, then there is the dubai model , then the american) at last i sold it for 6 lakhs.... and brought city 05 and ever since then i realized tht imported cars are just a pain in the a$$ once it gets spoilt. not to mention some other mishaps like 1) radiator got leaked and no new radiator was available for this model 2) car deck got robbed along with the fitting bracket and it was impossible to get tht bracket. 3) one sensor blew due to the tranny and tht alone sensor costed me 8k. thts y my friendly advice to the poster is tht sell it off as soon as u can. because the tranny is useless on this car and has major parts problem.
