Default best window tints in islamabad?

Salaams

i've searched a couple of times but found nothing useful despite my memory telling damriol did once post about a shop. vot i need is, a good shop with good paper. i don't intend to get jet black paper. just thirty percent has been running fine. thing is they are fading to brown. rohail told me when i was going to get it done that this would happen but isn't there a better way out? besides, a shop better than those in f-10? jawad once told me about one in blue area. said they cover all the way till the top so the cops can't tell if it's done locally or came that way. is it so? vot about kiani1's claim of doing it from the outside so they keep trying on the inner? wouldn't water (washing or rain) ruin them? help me fast, time running out. aur haan! is it so that old windows (my car is `97 model) do not look that good or something?

yesterday i saw a shitvic belonging to Osama Silk in f-10. looked cool. the driver said he got it done from Carachi Company for just Rs. 350. this is why i have now targeted this shop and the blue area one.

lol shitvic

its stavic.

well do post pictures of the car when tinted and also update on this carachi company.

these shop guys always do fraud. i remember when i got my jeep tinted the show keeper said that its medium(50%) but later i kind of found out the its not even 30%.

and these low quality ones often fade.

and i dont think there is and good quality tint available in market.

Surely will.

Something to add to the topic: I am assuming that some of you guys consider 70% to be darker than 30%? Am I correct to assume that?

If so than it is the opposite.

The percentage of the tint tells you how much percengtage of the light is allowed through the tint film.

So for example 30% tint blocks 70% of the light and only 30% is allowed to go through.

Also some consider 0% tints to be least dark.Instead 0% tint film allows no light at all to go through the film.

I think this is mostly due to the tint shops who do not know the proper lingo for the tints.

P.S. I am in no way making fun of anyone's knowledge.I also had the same exact false information earlier.

The fim don't say the percentage of darkness on them do they?

30% is in fact darker than 70%.

Most of the people think the opposite which is incorrect.

just got my civic 95 tinted
i stoped near traffic police dudes and asked them if these were fine...and they said yeah these are fine. from aprox 5ft distance they look like jet black tints....but some policemen stoped me at security checkpost which they never did before and asked me to pop da trunk. so basically traffic police is fine with these...and if you open up drivers seat window while approaching a check-post then i think they will let you go as well :]

ok here are the pics of my car.

^^ this pic shows that you can see thru if you are looking from right angle

^^ but most of the time they look like this *jet black*

^^ now this is how it would look like to a security personal or someone from ITP...when they try to peek inside...basically when they try, then can look inside so it shouldn't be a problem.

^ this is darker the the ones on windows... and ITP/police don't peek from behind so this should be fine, still it isn't jet black.

got these done from G-9. I just told the dude to put tint's which are allowed/won't **** off ITP.

alright........m back with the following:

1. tints got taken off on Saturday following the GHQ bomb blast.

2. went to the guy behind Citibank as Asimsa suggested. his paper was brown so i left.

3. this fellow suggested Rizwan Autos in Carachi Company so i went to him. extremely slow - takes forty five minutes for one car - but i got it doen from him. from outside he charges Rs. 300 and from inside, Rs. 400.

4. Salman, where is Dubai Autos?

5. pixel, the basement guy is there no more. the Drifters' guy told me they were in partnership - papers was theirs, the basement guy did the job. now that he's left, no more paper.

guys, thanks a lot for contributing so much to my topic. i've gotten them done now but will be needing again after a few months because they fade away Rohail said.

People be warned do not go to Dubai Autos. I went through reading this thread and the guy did a very shitty job on my brand new Civic. Its disgusting. Scrathes and small air bubbles on the paper.

Why cant people do a proper job in this country. I have recenlty come from the UK and had many tints in UK and no problem. Why can people be honest in this country and be truthfull and do an honest job.

Any way be warned about Dubia Autos. I will be taking these films off and looking again.
