Default Is it worth buying an accidented car

Is it worth buying an accidented car expertly repaired. What are the plus and minus of such a deal including legal implications...for instance how to trace whether the accidented car is involved in a case (injury or death) etc.

First try to get a non accidented car...secondly accidents are of many types in lahore most of the cars majorly or minorly hav some touch ups though exceptions r there i hav a ride which never got touched by paint....thirdly get the car nos and go to CIA they will tell u about the car whether any FIR is filled against it or whether its involved in any criminal activity or not.

it depends wat type of accident. for me , the car should not be chasiss hit. i would prefer a clean like new touch up car rather then a badly shaped everywhere dent original paint car.

but regardless of tht , u should alwaz cplc clear the car. just call them and they will give u full details about the car.

and by accident i mean "accident" not like somone died in the car man.... i would never take tht type of a car..... who knows its haunted.... (sorry but i am damn scared when it comes to supernatural things)

My referral was towards luxuary cars such as Accords,
Mark X, Mercedes, BMX etc. If you ever visit major denters, they are normally filled with expensive cars which makes you believe absolutely that even the most safest of cars can actually ended up pretty badly after accidents. Those car looks almost new after repair and can be baught between 12 to 15lakhs. For instance, a Mark X is currently available for 16lakhs, similarly a Camry also available at a fraction of new. Please comment now !!!!

i dont mind buying such cars. but it should not be hit from the front because engine parts are really hard to get and mostly do "jugaar" and put them. but its even harder to find cars like these because they get booked by party even before they are made.

i saw a belta being made infront of me. engine was fine rest the whole car was screwed. the guy made it and sent it for "bhatti paint" . after it came no one could even tell if it was the same car!. but the car costed him 11 lakhs. (1.3 variant)

agreed with enerlevel.

buying a accidented car has several aspects.

wat sorta accident was it, is it repaired, or not if yes then how good is it are the parts reapaired or changed ( wid atleast scraped cars parts) i.e shair shah, bilal gunj, kabili.

many people get there totaled cars repaired they dun give it the tym and money it deserves. dont change parts. in the end claim accidented cars cant be repaired. as good as they used to. leaving the paint job apart all the other things can be replaced to make the car as good as new.

I noe they can be repaired as gud as new and even the paint but the money encountered is so mch that a person thinks its better to actualy buy a new one. the genuine look alike paint only is done for about 2 lacks (burney autos) * ive jst heard that i dunt noe how true is dat.

secondly how gud the accidented car is made it looses its value. and i think dats prety obvius dat it shud loose its value. but the part of the world we live in people sell old indus corolas for a 0.8 million and other happily shake hands and buy them

for such people resale is a very big factor.

there are so many accident cars being sold as new cars and ppl dont even know. infact many of these used cars imported from japan already have many of their piece repainted but ppl still buy it saying "it was repainted in japan not local" LOL.

i think if u getting an accidental car but cheap, then get it. but do drive it b4 and even u get a slightest of feeling tht somthing is not right , then leave it there and then

repair costs can be astonishing for luxuary cars. I heard of 2,5m being spent on a Mark X which is now available for sale at 1.6m. If it's abroad, that car might have already been despatched to the bottom of sea......but Pakistan is an amazing country, not only that the owner got it all repaired, there may be many readily agreeing to buy the same. I won't mind for a fraction of a second......lol

yes, sometime you are bound to do things otherwise would never do. Similarly you will find people in life who do things you would never do.
