cant be possible..meter is 240km/h like the old civic
on higher octane levels, which is not available in pakistan it can go max till 230
on our highest level of octane(octane 95) 225 is maximum(given perfect conditions)
if anyone has topped that please share!

The new Civic's meter over reads the speed- NO! don't start shouting at me please. You can check with another car or better with a GPS. Well I took it to 150 km/h GPS speed and the onboard meter was showing something like 160-ish. This was done WITH stock tyre setup.

This is probably because this civic was originally designed with 16'' wheel setup.

I don't think it can top 215 km/h- well why? there's something called physical limit for stock car.

1250 kg with 140 bhp

and going above 220km/hr ?

so if i take a 96 civic, 1050kg, and place a b16a, 160 bhp i should manage 250km/hr ?

Hash bhai the faster you go the more mother nature tries to hold you back.

For example lets take a look at bugatti veyron.

The veyron needs only 270 HP to reach 155mph but for the next 100mph it requires another 730HP.

So just 20hp wont make much of a difference but will surely make it accelerate faster
