i touched 194km/h on my civic 1.8 in 4th gear and Rpm was on 6000 it means reborn can easily touch 200km/h in 4th gear so estimate the top speed whn 5th gear wil b on 6500Rpm.....230-250km/h can b Max speed..........

Whatever the top speed you lot claim, try checking it with a GPS device. When the on board is doing 223km/h the actual speed could hardly be 210.


Yes it does 200km in 4th but then again


I reckon its something like 132 - 135 mph from the factory.

cant be possible..meter is 240km/h like the old civic
on higher octane levels,which is not available in pakistan it can go max till 230
on our highest level of octane(octane 95) 225 is maximum(given perfect conditions)
if anyone has topped that please share!

The ECU limits it at 263Km/h


It can go till 230 and above!!

well the auto does 70 at 1500rpm in topgear with the torque converter at its min ratio....

so with this calculation
140 @ 3000
210 @ 4500
280 @ 6000
326 @ 7000

but the thing is does it has enough power to counter the high drag at these speeds...i dont think so...

drag increases by the power of 2 for increase in speed....


secondly the meter over displays for sure....it can be tested with gps9as already mentioned).. i think the error is around 8 percent...


anyway neither i own one nor i have taken any to the max, but i think it can max out at 210kph(real speed)

The title says its 1.6 version, did this shape come in 1.6? and if 1.6 can do 239 what about 1.8?

damn looking at the video makes me feel soooo "unsafe" lol. seriously i dont think u can reach tht speed inside city limits .... and yes somehow i feel these digital meters (including vitz) dont seem to be so accurate....

as far as 230 and above is concerned..you need higher octance levels in your fuel, which i guess u misread my post regarding that, is not available in Pakistan, therefore its impossible until anyone has posted a video of it being done here.though ive posted a video of it doing 238, but not IN PAKISTAN

top speed is not always about numbers and calculations which are done on paper, limitations are variable, perfect conditions are not always acquired.
