I reckon its something like 132 - 135 mph from the factory.

im a little confused here, this means when it shows 100km/h its actually somewhat 80, as the gps would claim, or is it only the case with top speed?

The top speed is more than it can handle. Stay ~140 kmph in compact and sub-compact grocery-getters.

well if an engien is mapped for lets say 95 ron, it wont make a difference in power even if you put 130 ron in it.....

you are technically right, mapping is needed to reach the optimum level, but changing the octane levels a minor,does make a difference, ive tried it and had better 0-60 timings(average of 4 runs)

225km/h lolx impossible on pak road as the amount of friction on paki roads are alot


with low wieght[load] on car it will reach 210 max and with dour passengers it would hardly touch 200km/h

I've done 200km/h or honda city while going DOWNHILL (Although i saw death while doing this stupidity on 1.3ltr crap sedan). So i think 1.8 should do more than 215 technically. Im not challenging anyone but just sharing my experience and what i think


But infact downhill speed should not be considered as top speed or something.

i once did 180km (full meter) on my honda accord cf3 at sharaifaisal (very short route) and tht too on 17" rims, and the accord was also 1.8cc . so considering civic as 1.8 and on a long route with stock tires , it should hit atleast 210.
