Stoner still on top in final session
Casey Stoner was quickest yet again in final practice for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, though Marco Simoncelli pushed him hard this time.

Stoner clinches Silverstone pole
Casey Stoner fended off Marco Simoncelli and Jorge Lorenzo to claim his fourth pole position of the 2011 MotoGP season at Silverstone.

Crutchlow hurt in qualifying crash
Cal Crutchlow's hopes of a strong result at his maiden home grand prix have been dashed after the Briton suffered a fractured left collarbone and concussion in qualifying at Silverstone.
