All these vehicles are basically used as 'mini truck/van' for delivery purpose with in Japanese cities. However, they can be converted into family car easily. Personally, I prefer wagons over sedans. . .
The following reasons are behind the popularity of these wagons;
- Cheap prices
- Engine Displacement remain under 1500cc limit (Nissan AD is 1.3 petrol engine)
- More space than a sedan, you can put a lot of luggage even with a CNG tank
