Yes, "Most" Harleys are comfortable. I've sat on my colleague's Harley Davidson Road King (its a 'hardtail' touring rig BTW) and it was like sitting on a sofa. Very broad seat with thick padding and a slightly forward floor boards. It felt like I could ride it for day without a numb bum! The guy insisted me to take it for a spin but I refused thinking its 103 cubic inch (thats well over 1600cc displacemet) twin cam push rod V-Twin is bit TOO MUCH (actually WAY TOO MUCH) for me to handle... Anyhow, my point is; V-Rod's aren't like FLHR's or even Dynas or Softails when it comes to comfort... They aren't any more practical then say, a Speed Triple... Your feet are basically right in front of you, feels cool for short jaunts... But on a long trip, your hips will soon get numb as your feet aren't under you to support the body weight. Harleys are mostly comfortable, not the case with V-Rods my friend...
