Excellent point, brother. I will bring this up with them comparing the power of Sprinter and GD.
Also, the event of carburetor service of Waqas18's GD is alarming. His GD's carburetor's jets needed adjustment. Now this similar thing happened in KIA Spectra back in 2004/5 when it was launched and customers complained for its extravagant fuel consumption. Korean engineers themselves came to Pakistan and adjusted EFI settings of all Spectra units.
So maybe, just MAYBE, GD's carburetors do need some taming to optimize fuel consumption.
Experts, please advise.
Amjad bro, my GD has clocked almost 7,200 km. And yes, I agree, Honda's brake shoes are excellent. My CD 100's rear brake shoes lasted for almost 20k km. And yes, I will replace my GD's brake shoes with Honda's brake shoes from authorized dealer.
And I would like to mention here that GD's build quality is indeed the best in its class in Pakistan. It includes material used in body, engine, paint quality, and chrome quality. The weaklings of GD, as per my opinion, are tyre/tubes and brake shoes. Otherwise I do not find any other material quality issues in the product.
