The status of the Lambretta trade name is unclear, in early seventies Indian government bought the closed down factory and the trade name. Then there was some change (I don't know what) and they stopped using the Lambretta name for their scooters.
Since 2011, a Taiwanese company (SYM) is manufacturing Lambretta scooters using their Taiwanese built engines, only some steel body parts are made in Italy. They have opted for the old 60s design instead of a modern one.
Answer to your question: Since it is a Taiwanese built scooter it should be able to compete with Chinese products.
The real question for me is: Would Pakistanis buy a 1960s design scooter? The SYM scooters have a modern design. Photos from Wikipedia SYM page:
