Dear Friends;
As our local distributor of Liqui Moli lubricants quotes that the drain interval can be as long as 2500KM if using Liqui Moli lubricants. As the engine of my last Suzuki sprinter dead within 50000km because of lubrication issues, so this time i am very carefull with my new Suzuki GD-110. I talked with Liqui Moli Germany and what they quoted is given below. Please read the complete thread from start to end and ask me if anyone has anyother question to ask them.

Dear,
no worry about your questions, that?s what we are there for.
To check the oil performance without a labratory analysis is not possible, to check it between the fingers or to smell it gives you a uncomplete diagnosis.
That?s why we always recommend to change the oil by following manufacturers instruction to be on the save side.

Dear Steffen;
Thanks for your kind suggestion. I am sorry that I am asking you different questions again and again but it is necessary to discuss as ?asking question is better than assuming wrong?. I have told many persons to use Liqui Moli and they have begun but first I should have cleared every thing so that I could be able to guide to people very clearly.
My question is that, can I check my-self the condition of oil after 1500km traveling? I mean if oil condition is ok after 1500km then drain interval can be extended. Normally people get a little bit oil from engine, check its viscosity/thickness by rubbing it between two fingers and get some idea about its life.

Dear,
there should be a reason why the manufacturer Suzuki requests an oil change after 1000 Km in your country ... Sure, our product has a higher quality and performance level but we not recommend you to extend the oil drain interval from 1000 Km to 2500 km ( which would be a more than 150% longer interval ).
We can recommend you to do a 1500 Km oil drain interval, so you?ll be on the save side. The high sulfur and water contend in your local fuel harms the oil very much so better change the oil after 1500 km.

Dear Steffen;
Thanks for spending your precious time to reply my queries. According to owner manual, the classification of API engine oil should be SF/SJ or SH/SG. It means Liqui Moli engine oil 4t 20W-50 which I used in my engine is ok for it.
For drain interval while using locally available engine oil, Suzuki recommends to change the oil after 1000KMs but the local distributor of Liqui Moli says with guarantee that by using Liqui Moli, the drain interval can be exceed to 2000-2500KMs. This is the point which I want to discuss because if it is true then there is no problem but if it is not true then I can not put my new bike in risk.

Dear,
important for the use and the lenght of the oil service interval ist the classification of the engine oil comparing to the given oil performance level by vehicle manufacter. Our Liqui Moly Racing 4t 20W-50 has the classification API SG / SJ / SL, so if this is the requested performance level there is no need to worry in using this product.
The oil service interval is always given by vehicle manufacter and depends on the used o il performance, operating conditions and the fuel quality. Please find informations about this in your owners manual book.

Dear Sir; I have Suzuki GD110 motorcycle in which I used Caltex Havoline SAE 10W-40 lubricant. Now I have moved to Liqui Moli and used first time SAE 20W-50. My point of concern is that what is the different between SAE 10W-40 and SAE 20W-50? Is there any harm by using 20W-50 lubricant in place of 10W-40/ As you may be known that weather of our country remains very hot in summer and in winter, the min temperature drops at 3-5?C. Kindly guide. Second thing, normally I change the oil of my bike after 1000KM. So by using Liqui Moli, what do you recommend about the drain interval? Here people say that with Liqui Moli, the drain interval can be 3000KM. Is it?
