I was recently looking for a 7th Gen Eagle Eye Civic. My cousin knew the owner and ensured that it's a great car but we would have to wait for a few days for him to get back from a business trip.
1 week stretched to the next and 3 whole weeks later he dropped off the car at my house for me and my father to try for a day. (Couldn't believe his confidence in us. :D). Good seller?
No.
The 'genuine' car had 3 doors and the whole rear trunk replaced and the suspension rattled even on smooth roads. The interior smelled of cigarette and pan!
Called him 3 hours later for him to pick it up. He offered 40K less but we still denied.
