"I am in Love with theSleeping Beauty", So will you ! once you spend a moonlit night in her arms.
Yes I can bet on it ! Once you get a glimpse of her, you will forget to breath. Besides the freezing wind, you will be taken out of this world and it takes time to come back in your senses.
These are the words I have heard from every one, who has witnessed "Rakaposhi" and where ever they are, they are still unable to get out of the Charisma and the "spell" has still bound them.
It all started from my cousin's wedding, a couple of years back. He is British born and living there but was marrying a Desi girl, like an obedient eastern boy. He brought his five "gora" friends with him to witness the traditional Pakistani wedding and I got the duty to accompany them. Luckily two of them, a British and an Australian were mountaineers and I was surprised to know their knowledge about the mountains of Pakistan. Both were in Love with the "Sleeping Beauty" Rakaposhi.
The sketch of the Moonlit night of Rakaposhi, they draw in front of our eyes, left us spell bound and we all fell in love of the unseen.
My another Australian friend Allen who was living in Karachi also told me the same story. When I read Mustansar Hussain Tarar and some others, I found them all in the same addiction.
I was wondering what's the magic in it, until I experienced it myself. And I challenge you, once you witness the beauty of Rakaposhi in a night of full moon, " The spell will get you" !
She will take your Breath away !
