Tauqir@Huazifa was the main initiator this time and total slots were only 06 which filled with in a day by friends . Following were the members of our team
We just Named it a "Weekend plan" as it completed within two days.
Travel Itinerary and Trek route
Pir Chinasi -> Pir Hassimar -> Dabban
Meeting point was at 22:00 at Pir Wadhai and team members reached there from different starting points. At 23:00 we left Islamabad for Muzafarabad and reached in Sleepy Muzafarabad. Did our Breakfast and have a pre arranged meeting with Guest Appearance Mr Imran @ism1 there.
27[SUP]th[/SUP] of Sep 2014: After some necessary arrangements we left for Pir Chinasi top. About 1/1.5 hour travelling on a jeep and reached there before 08:00. Got our guide from there The Great Satti (Y). Start our trek at about 8:15 and after a 16km trek reached Pir Hassimar till Dusk L. Pir Chinasi is at 2800m and Pir Hassimar is at 3200m?.Means only a 400m Altitude. Don?t go on this misconception . Altough we can?t say it a tough trek but it is not as easy as it depicts from the calculation. There are a couple of occurrences of Ups and Downs which imparts 100/200m additional ascend/descend on the trek J.
Trekked the last hour into the thick and dense cloud coverings. ENJOYED and whole night severe Rainfall L
28[SUP]th[/SUP] Sep 2014.
Previous night rain just stopped before morning and we are able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise there. Today, we have a detailed Pre Meeting with our guide for finalization of the trek route to Dabban and left the camp site before 09:00?.Again a long long and very long descend and finally at about 15:00 we reached to Dabban a village from where we got a taxi and reached to main Chakothi Road and consequently to Muzafarabad??Story will continue in upcoming posts.
Some words about the trek: It is a less explored trek and trekkers who love the greenery must do it. Trek is easy to moderate(distance matter on both sides). From Pir Hassimar either we can descend to Neelum Valley side or Jhelum River side. We opted for the Jhelum River side as the trek is shorter in this direction. Nature Lovers can come across with Beautiful Meadows, Lush Green walking ways and splendid views around. Often you feel that you are walking over the clouds???specific details will along with the story
