Currently Im using the AHL shock absorbers,
Got the complete assy in early 2009 and I was satisfied with them.
They were opened once during the restoration and after that the issue arised.
Apart from that sound I was talking about the outer glass of the left shock touches the inner body.(Notice the highlighted area)
Have got it opened/re-assembled twice, changed the inner glass but the problem still persisted.
These are the HM ones that came with the bike.
I replaced them because they had become a bit too soft and the seals were damaged so the oil got leaked.
The condition is not that bad but the springs have developed slight rust and there are also some spots of rust on the inner rods, which are not that deep and can be covered with chroming the rods.(Notice the encircled portion)
Now should I get the HM ones repaired?
If yes then should I get the inner rods chromed or leave them as it is?
Also which oil and how much quantity should I use in them?
