i have noticed that rear tyres on my cars get eaten up (balanced wheels) could it be due to the weight of CNG cylinder (I do know the rotation interval)Has anyone else noticed this thing on their cars??
is it a rwd car?is it a independent suspension car, do you do the rear alignment as well ?
both my cars are fwd and have cylinders at the backfront tyres wear out first
@hash4ufront wheel cylinder at back, front alignment and balancing done only xli 2004 (sold but noticed the phenomenon back then)and a mehran 2012 to be exact i noticed it when it was less then 20k km driven so rear balancing(i am not sure how it is done in a leaf spring set up) is out of question unless they don't give a damn before rolling them out of factory yes you are right about the fact that front tyres in a front wheel drive go bald much quickly hence necessitating rotation but it's kinda opposite, since car is other wise fine with periodic maintanace i thought it might be due to weight of cylinder but i guess i am wrong
would like to addcar with alignment issues would wreck tyres, that to from edges usually balancing just kills wobbling
