as in every CNG vehicle air intake is restricted to increase vacuum signals for cng. which effects the efficiency of
carburetor specially su carburetor which is very sensitive to vacuum.my 95 lancer has this su carburetor so i wanted to have a solution for it.
i develop a system on my own & its running very successfully . never learn it from any were. nor have a degree ( just Fsc pass in science)
but i am in a habit of learning how every component works(through internet & by observation) in a car, & fixing my cars is my hobby.when u have some knowledge & understanding Ideas comes automatically in one mind.
this system based on improvising hot air intake system at cold start...which is found in many carbureted vehicles.
beside lancer i have seen it in cuore & 95 civic also.. basically its a vacuum motor or shutter at the entry of the airfilter housing with a vacuume hose attach to it, which allows warm air from exaust side for smooth idle when engine is cold. when engine wams up the vaccume shut off & normal air is supplied to engine.
