Salam,
The car in discussion is a 1976 Toyota Corolla KE35 which recently got the rear axle bearings replaced of NTN brand.
Upon recieving the axles from the shop which pressed fit them, we noticed that there was some freeplay as if it was an ill-fit. The mechanic said that these C3 type bearings do have this amount of freeplay and is the correct application for rear solid axles.
After completing the install on the car, there is freeplay on the wheel when grabbed and moved from a 12 and 6 o'clock position.
Although there are no noises, jerks, or vibrations i seek clarification on my experience and info on bearing application (C3?).
