Recently swapped my civic 2000's engine with D15Z7, the engine is currently coupled with P2M-N12 ECU and original transmission of PKDM Civic. Now I am wondering if I should replace the current ECU with any of the above mentioned ones or keep using the one already installed.
are you facing any problems? I assume its manual transmission.
best option of course is to use the matching ecu (if you can find it).
Well, I don't feel the vtec kicking in... That is leading to higher fuel consumption.
Also facing a non-ecu related problemTires are producing screeching sounds whenever I am taking turns, even on low speed.

BroU need p2j ecu so both vtec solenoids function n u get the most out of this setup
Tire screech sound is either alignment or just because its hot nowadays.
i dont think there is any weight difference that would cause the screeching. Other than that, could be nothing related to engine swap.
You can use p2j ecu of either MT or AT.
I assume your wiring is obd2b.
P2m-n12 is obd1 or obd2?
Get A P2J ECU Wired Up....They Just Probably Fix The Available One And Make It Work....
Regard Screeching SO Its Also Due To Tyres...Make Sure They Are Not Worn Out And Are Not Other Like SNOW Tyres....
I hAd a civic with d15z7 dual vtec manual transmission p2j 003 its. Code for manual transmission this ecu is rarely found i just faced wiring problem nothing else ...both vtecs kicked in 1 around 3000 and the 2nd around 5200 :d

The tires were installed last year and there was no such sound until the engine was swapped.
During Swap...Any Work Done On Steering Rack And Rack Ends???? If Yes...Get It CHecked And Aligned
There Is Not Much Weight Difference in Both Motors..So Its Something Else
