I have recently bought a Thai Vigo 2012 model. It was imported just last month, and I bought it a couple of weeks ago, so it has not been driven on the streets in Pakistan as such.
I was driving to interior Sindh, some two days after buying it, and when I was driving it at the speed of 130 km/hr, I noticed that the steering was wobbling. So I took the vehicle to Zafcom on Gizri, to get wheel balancing and wheel alignment done. When I got that done, I noticed that my truck's steering was pulling towards the right while driving. So I took it back to Zafcom and showed it to them, and mentioned to them that this problem did not exist an hour ago, before they worked on the alignment and balancing.
They went under the hood again and said there is some problem with the tie-rod, and that I need to show it to a mechanic.
Now, my question is, is it possible that there was a problem with the tie-rod before they went under the hood, but it never showed prior to them correcting the wheel alignment and balancing, and once the alignment and balancing was done, that is when this problem starting 'showing'?
If yes, then who would be a good reliable 4x4 mechanic whom I can visit, to get this issue re the steering pulling towards the right, fixed? And if the answer to my above question is no, then who, other than Zafcom, shall I go to, to get proper alignment and balancing, so that this issue is resolved?
Thanks in advance.
