I like these buses. I remember when I was in Islamabad couple of years back. I think Varan Transport, a lady (some general's daughter) ran that company of 150 buses had these Hinopak buses, but those were non CNG. Sadly, one of the buses got into an accident and crushed a motorbiker. Angry mobs, burned down many of Varan Buses and threatened the lives of many of its drivers and soon after the whole company went bankrupt. People need to be more tolerant. Look at the fault, leave it to authorities to figure out who was at fault, and maybe take the case in court and make the Bus company pay to the victim's family. This is how it would have worked out in a Developed country, instead of shutting down whole bus company, and depriving the poor people of a very decent Bus service. Anyway, the HinoPak bus just reminded me of that whole story all over again.
Insha-Allah, this new Bus will prove to be a success. Yes, our country needs cleaner running buses, as the current ones, specially those round and ugly one's made by local garage mechanics need to be dumped and their iron recycled. These buses are spacious, and much cleaner. Hope the government encourages their usage, and make some laws, where in case of an accident, the whole bus company does have to go down like Varan of Islamabad. Plus, its important to have the Bus Companies be run as a professional organization and well trained, traffic law abiding bus drivers and well behaving bus conductors.
