at every tank top up visit to fuel station,
get off your vehicle at fuel station open the filler yourself and ask dispenser boy to keep half of nozzle visible ( spill-flood is caused when nozzle is inserted as if jabbed into filler while almost 90% of nozzles does not have rubber collar around to stop over filling ) so liquid flow does NOT BLOCK air passage aka fuel vapours out of tank
This is ONE reason all fuel stations have NO SMOKING signs - In europe & in some States of US Cigarettes, lighters & matchbox are not sold at fuel station convenience stores - Fuel Vapours are highly inflammable
