In Pursuit of a .....

Dear All,

After a Long Decision Making Process, Suggestions from friends and family, I've finally decided to go for Current Honda Civic. Well, It took me a long time. I currently have Honda City which My Dad Gifted me after my graduation. By Grace of Almighty, I have some savings now and wanted to Shift to Civic. I wanted to go for 9th Generation Civic initially, but there were number of factors that led me to change my decision.

1. 9th Generation Civic got a very cold shoulder from critics world wide.

2. There have been news of an early restyling by Honda.

3. Catastrophe in Thailand will further delay the Release of New Civic. Infact, Atlas Honda has closed its production Line for next couple of months.

4. Personally, I hate to say this, but I don't like the exterior of New Civic. It is a step ahead on the inside but exterior is really a turn off , for me (People may disagree)

so finally I have settled for Honda Civic Oriel Prosmatic

It was very confused between Altis and Civic but when I sat inside both, I knew instantly what should I buy. (No offence to Altis Lovers, If I had more money I would've bought both )

Which brings me to the point that Why I created the whole thread. Actually, Honda Dealers are giving a time of 3 months for Car Delivery. I would Love if I can find a car now and not have to weight that long.
So If there any body out there, or anybody you know , Who has a civic and he/she want to sell it also.

I must clear one important thing. I am not looking for a used car, If anybody has booked a car and is expecting a car deliver soon, or anybody who just book cars for investment purposes (I know people do that) or if there is anyone who got his car just now and want to get a 2012 model ... or whatever reason may be.

I have checked Ads on the site also. One buddy on Pakwheels is selling New Civic Prosmatic on some Premium ,which I am ready to pay but the problem is the color. The Car is on Honda Showroom in Lahore. I checked from my own Honda Showrooms in FSD also but of no avail....

so Guys , this thread is in pursuit of a Honda Civic Oriel Prosmatic with Navigation. My first preference is Silver and Second is White.

Owning to hopeless responses from my black marketers friends I was left with no choice but to book the car.

I've booked in Silver color but the Honda Chenab guys told me that I can change the colour, if I want to with in 10 days.
so please turn the focus of the thread to Colour polling

A couple of weeks back mannul hardtop and soft top both were available in Honda center Rawalpindi i am not sure what is the situation now ...No prosmatec was available then ,But its worth checking with them again if you have not already done so.

Why dont you go buy from a dealership on premium? The more you wait, the more premium is going to increase. You will regret your decision if you wait any longer because after 10 Jan, own is expected to reach 150k-200k. Already most dealers are holding onto their stock and not selling

white lo0ks more decent then silver particularly in this model...i have silver vti manual and i keep on comparing it with other colors..u may disagree but give it a second thought

You are mistaken. There is no production of civic till end March 2012 so there will be no 2012 model before March. I would advise you to buy the car NOW otherwise you will end up paying 1-2 lacs more own on the same 2011 car and will also pay penalty for late registration (as all 2011 cars in lahore are october/november 2011 models and there is late penalty after 2 months)

Come to lahore and visit Honda City Sales/Honda Point and you might be able to find one in white or silver

@mani1 We've talked over the phone. Buddy sorry to put you on hold. Actually I have grey City and want a new colour in my next Car. Yes, I will check with Honda Dealerships in Lahore, all four of them. I am hopeful that I might get lucky.
