My old Hankook lasted me more than 4 years and it went with the car after I sold it. Dry batteries last longer and there is no doubt or second thought.
My current car has AGS (one which comes with the new car) and it nearly 2.4 years and its working fine. Though I hate wet batteries due to the fact that you have to maintain them and acid leakage from terminals is a pain. Due to same reasons, I went to G6 battery shops (melody) Islamabad to replace existing battery with Dry one. As I have used dry hankook battery nearly 6-7 years, finishing of batteries available in the market was not as good. I was doubtful and checked the barcode of the battery with Barcode Scanner App in my cell phone. I was astonished that the batteries were not verified by barcode and I got the message that Product Does Not Exist. I am very sure that currently available stock of Hankook and other brands are all Chinese replicas. And I am sure that people who complain that their dry battery lasted for a year should be due to all these replicas available in the market.
Conclusion, if you get an original battery, it has wonderful life and at the end its maintenance free.
