^^alto 660cc is more better than 1000cc alto engine etc,get a 660 alto and enjoy,no need of swap at all.its runs quick+gives good economy too.what else you want?

Alto japnezz is luxury car as compared to paki alto.
I always enjoy the drive of alto japan as have one manual

Power windows, power steering, soft suspension, better break a lot more ...

Yes u can change the engine very easily.
But will recommend not to change it's engine .. 660cc run on petrol very economical in city as well as on long route also ..

Just buy and drive ... Piece of mind ...

Alto 660cc engine is much better than the local F10A (1000cc) engine. It offers much better fuel economy and driving pleasure. F10A is all grunt and no go! Also, if anyone here who can afford to run the 1000cc on petrol, then he can easily afford to run Civic Prosmatec on petrol. F10A is indeed a torque'y engine, but the dynamics of the engine itself does not allow the required torque to b given to the wheels. I have seen JDM Alto 660cc running superbly on highways, and i still remember that one of these was cruising calmly at 135kph on motorway.

I have one 660 cc Alto and its acceleration is superb.turning the AC has no effect on car's performance and noise.Great engine but fuel consumption is pretty bad

don't put your self in hassle of engine swap ... Japanese alto is way better then local alto just buy and drive ...

F10A all grunt but for CNG a big yes and running on 135 kph for a 660cc is good but
F10A if properly tunned can go up to 150 friend had 08 alto i did my stuff with wires and plugs plus a tune up for CNG and it went to 150 on CNG it has grunt but needs to be fed the right way
bhai 32-33 ka 660 mil jaye ga

I never said that the F10A can never go up to 150kph. I have one, and it's well kept, tuned and maintained. I have taken it to 135kph and it can go there on CNG but it's equivalent to putting ur engine through misery! This engine is not meant for high speeds, rather for low end torque. It's differential dynamics are just pathetic! It has a lot to offer but the wheels really don't get much in terms of grip due to poor design of the axles.
If u put the same amount of exertion on a K6A that u'd put on F10A to take it upto 135kph, K6A will easily go uptil 160kph provided it's not speed limited to 140.
F10A is an excellent engine for low end torque but it needs a better transfer case to provide power to the wheels. and this engine is simply not meant for high speeds or even economy on petrol.
