no market for Toyota Passo?

we have recently goten a 2006 Toyota Passo from karachi. the car cost 9laks when 16thousand delivery charges to Peshawar is added. the car was bought with the intention of reselling it here for a bit of profit. there were ads given of this car on many websites including this one. it got parked in a bargain for many days and its ad was given in newspaper. now theres a sticker on the back saying 'For sale' but still nothing. its been quiet a while now and it seems as if there is no market for this car at all.

im wondering about the reasons for it sitting for so long with no buyers? could it be that its initial buying price is too high? or are people simply arnt willing to buy this car for reasons unknown? i have just come to see this car recently but i have known that these have been around for several years already so why are these such headache to sell?

I bought a passo last year for 7.90 06 model.and i have 2 buyers waiting for me to sell the car for minimum 8.50.in quetta passo is seriously high on market or selling purpose.As u have mentioned that u bought it for 9lacs then adding slight profit would cost a person For example 9.15,seriously i can get a 08 unregistered passo in this price :/

i think u got a slow selling car in a higher price
investment in cars like 1000cc vitz, 660cc alto, or probox, AD is wise i think

Passo has a low resale. And Its resale is bit matter in few Cities, Like KHI/LHR/ISB .

bring it to Islamabad/Rawalpindi ...here Passo are selling well...a month ago i saw a Passo sold for exactly 1 million (dont remember its year though)

Passo sells fine and is selling fine,so the problem isnt in that.When did you buy this car?

If you bought it a month ago,then why buy a 2006 model which is prob an old import.Color of the car? specs? any pictures? I tried going through your profile and couldnt find an ad.

Look i do this for a living,its taken me close to 8 years to get good at this business and i still make mistakes.You just bought the wrong car,model color etc it happens to everyone,we wither buy something that we think will sell and it doesnt,the market comes down etc.

Its no big deal,cut your losses,sell the car for no profit or a bit of a loss and move on,free up the money buy another car and you will make money on that.

Its a good business but its never easy as anything we do in life,its a learning process and we learn from our mistakes (and others) so smile,thank God for what you have and move on.

you have bought the car at party rate, not dealer rate. thats where you went wrong... a good setup in Khi might have given u the option of buying the same car at around 25K less. I couldve sold the same car to u at that rate.
but anyway, lesson learnt, time to move on.. like Alta rightly said.

yes it was bought for 9lak total. its not mine tho. its my uncle's. he doesnt know too much about jdms so this was the result.

@Alta. car was bought few months ago. dont know if it was sitting on port or had arrived fresh. color of car is silver. is 1000cc no hids and 2 air bags front. here is the ad that was given of it by another relative of mine.

Bought passo 2006 in SEP 2011 for 855,000 and sold it for 915 k march 2012 to some investor
now for the last three months car is on display at investors showroom
Passo market deteriorated due to fallowing resons
investors of 1000 cc VITZ propaganda to effect its sale

Get the headlights cleaned and buffed they look bad. put the missing wheel cup on and take pictures of it in some neat area.

mention meter reading. if till no good results take it to Islamabad try selling it there
