while viewing the on-line verification page, i have found a new text written in the safe custody box. What does it may describing ??

i get the same status, i purchased the car a month back its registered on my name and i have the book but the same status

This is now being displayed on every car's status. So the purchasers should visit personally and get vehicle verified from excise records. As the record on website is not integrated with excise records.

i have the book on my name the transfer letter is on my name i have the whole return file! still it has to be verified?? is it necessary

what i learn't, definately and ultimately one have contact excise and taxation on the purchase and then transfer of the vehicle. then why this field has been added???

i believe, that the data has been recently updated. i have verified some of the vehicles and the record is at factual position.
