people dont know much about hybrids, thats the sole reason that hybrids wont sell like hot cakes
right when they are launche s here, if they are
but give it some time
once people come to know the full potential of these hybrids
they will leave CNG and Petrol way behind

Hybrid electric system is a perfect technology with environmental friendly options.We have series of Hybrid cars from
Toyota,Honda & Nissan in Japan.Many trucks are running with Hybrid tec in cities here & Toyota is going to launch new Hybrid sports machines in next season.Hybrid car is a perfect machine with perfect speed.I think hybrid car is
very much better then diesel or cng cars.It is very quiet & smooth with no smoke.
just need to know

I think people should be educated about hybrids. It's a really good system and I'd love to buy one ! i mean if people can spend money on a CNG mech (which in my opinion has more downsides than good sides) this is at least more technologically advanced than it and has more benefits !.
Minor bun engine made Benny Lava...
My wife's car is a Honda Civic Hybrid - the same car you've shown in the picture. We've had it for about 3 years now, and I must say it's a great little runner, and pretty economical too. I use it daily to drive through London, and even with the crazy traffic jams we have here, I still manage 40-50mpg. The best thing about it is the 'auto stop' feature which stops the engine when you'er in traffic, and restarts it when you're about to move away. This way, even if your'e stuck in the same spot for an hour, no petrol is being used. It also uses the kinetic energy of braking/coasting to charge up the batteries, which in turn are used to assist the engine. We did a trip up to Scotland once, and it average'd around 57mpg, doing a constant 80mph on the motorway.
It's not without it's little niggles though. The constant stopping and starting is making the clutch wear prematurely. All in all it's good for the city.
its an outstanding technology.but i cant understand that how does the engine starts when we r abt to move?when we put the car in gear,does it starts then?
any chances its comming to pakistan?wat abt price.but i gotta say its preety underpowered.1300cc nd only 8-valve,like city.but its alright if we get that much economy........HONDA ROCKSS........

@ahmadbila !!!
Can easily get used imported Civic Hybrid engine car model 2001-2002 between 12 to 14 lack Rupees here in Pakistan.
But the big problem that its too much computerized and its spares which is hardly possible to find and also availablity of proper mechanic for its heavy copmputrized system's.
and finally in Pakistan its very hard for its maintainance due the dusty conditions of roads.
