I guess one cannot make an judgement without seeing the car. It would be a wise decission to take the car to some expert mechanic. Best of luck for the solution. However, if it's the loose belt issue you can confirm it by accelerating the car on neutral gear position if the sounds increases as the rpm increases and then after a few seconds if it doesn't goes then it's not a belt issue.
