Liana is a good car, even on cng, the main problem was that when suzuki started selling factory fitted cng liana, it was sold with sequential cng kit, way advanced tech for our market at that time. people had the thinking that it is a "suzuki" so got it maintained from cultus, alto carby car mechanics and ran into problems. it is a fine car if u can find one in good nick. just don't cheap out at the time of buying.
1.About its maintenance etc....
umm when u buy ur car, get a complete checkup from suzuki 3s, change all fluids and filters, change the parts that they'd recommend. after spending that first 30-40 thousand for peace of mind, you can opt for regular maintainance(just oil and filter change) by local mechanics, remember, never get it tuned, plug changed, throttle body cleaning or any engine related job from local mechanic, best to opt for 3s or go to a mechanic that know how to work on liana(i know one in sialkot, none in lahore). also never wash its engine bay, just damp cloth.
2.How much tax i will have to pay for it and when to pay...
liana is 1328cc(more than 1299) so it falls under 1300-1500 cc bracket, 5500-6000 yearly i think
3.From where i can get its spares....
engine related from 3s only(you can opt for guard filters, same number genuine sparkplugs though). body, mechanical(cv joints etc) related, anywhere u like, plenty of shops keep em, but buy quality stuff.
4.Is it good for day to day office routine....
yup, a close friend is using it on both petrol and cng, and it runs great, he has both xli and liana, and says that liana is a better ride in features and almost equal as a workhorse.
- from where and after how much time i will have to visit Mechanic.
depends upon the engine oil u use(regular maintainance) 5000 km for synthetic oil. for issues maybe once or twice a year.(visit suzuki 3s plz)
