@capsat just pics after touch up unfortunately. Will upload shortly.
In terms of routine maintenance the oil/oil filter has been changed every 4-5000km. Half the time I used Delo Gold. The other times I sent it in to Toyota. Diesel filter and air filter changed every third oil change. Transmission fluid and coolant changed by Toyota at 65k and 70k respectively. Compressor belt and alternator belt changed at 80k by Toyota.
@AmeerUsman let me clarify what I mean by suspension work. I consider it part of maintenance. After 80k I noticed suspension was not so smooth. Took the car in to to Abdul Hameed in Karachi who many members of this forum including me will swear by in terms of quality of work. On his recommendation I had the front 2 shocks refilled (they were at less than 50% which he demonstrated to me). He said in a couple of months come back and have the back shocks checked out as well. Same refilling was done to back shocks by him about 10 months later. In terms of suspension the car now drives like new alhamdulillah. On this second visit I also had the steering pressing done.
Never had any problems with this car. All the above was done voluntarily by me in order to keep the car running its best. No blow back or black smoke of any kind. Car always starts first time. Never had any kind of work done on the engine since it was never required. Only OEM parts used for maintenance work (including brake pads and all filters and fluids - other than the occasional use of Delo Gold as mentioned above).
In terms of misc upgrades I had all locks changed with Japanese Corolla locks to get rid of those dreaded guns/motors that kept going bad (have had zero issues with upgraded locks since changing over a year ago). Original Bosch horn installed. New stock low beam bulbs fitted a month ago. Steelmate 838G central locking system fitted. Tyres changed to Dunlop LM702 at 65k but to be perfectly honest I wasn't too pleased with these tyres. If I was keeping the car I would definitely change them. New battery a year ago. I would recommend any buyer to have the pump serviced at a good diesel lab, not because there are any issues but just because it has never been done before and I would if I was buying a diesel that's done 85k.
I think that's a pretty comprehensive description! Will upload pics soon showing panels that have been painted.
